The first industrial-scale production of humanoid robots could start as early as next year. With these devices, more than half of manual activities can be automated. The introductory price of humanoid robots is expected to be around €80 000 (HUF 31 million), but even so, such an investment will pay for itself in about one and a half years, according to a study by the Stuttgart-based Horváth Group, of which IFUA Horváth is a Hungarian member.

From January to February this year, the number of employees at the Samsung SDI battery manufacturer in Göd increased by 276 to 4114. Two large temporary employment agencies (Prohuman and WHC), on the other hand, saw a 200-person decrease, according to the monthly headcount trends compiled by HR Portal and Opten, which monitors the largest domestic employers.

From December last year to January this year, the largest increase in the number of employees was at B N Reference Zrt, which is engaged in cleaning and facility management, with 1963 more employees, according to the HR Portal and OPTEN Headcount Trends, which monitors the largest domestic employers.

Whatever the short and long term HR plan you are preparing (cost, training, event) the most frequently asked question is "how many?" will be. If we think further about headcount, questions that do not arise when planning HR costs - such as how much parking, how many phones, how much licensing - can take on relevant dimensions in the company's costs, so headcount is not just an HR budget issue. If I wanted to start with a word cloud, I would put words like inflation, stagflation, price-wage spiral, hedging, fixed capital, retention and so on. Why? Because in reality a wage increase is much more than trying to offset inflation with wages, because it has a myriad of effects in both the long and short term. The onboarding process should not be ad hoc.
