Another Chinese giant to start manufacturing in Hungary - Hungarian workers are being considered
Trial production starts after Easter at J-Star's new plant in Kaposvár. The Chinese factory will start up, with the latest robotised technology and local workers - sonline.hu reports.
At the end of the trial run, in mid-May, the full production line will start normal work with 100 workers, but as soon as they switch to two shifts, the number will double, sonline.hu.
J-Star Hungary Motion uses robotic technology and local workers, and sells predominantly in Europe to its partners in Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Austria and Sweden, said factory manager Toni Fang.
The majority of the workers are hired from Kaposvár because their goal is to contribute to the city's development. They have plans to expand the Chinese factory.
They are thinking about Hungarian workers, not Chinese and foreigners, confirmed István Németh, head of production. He said almost all their machines are almost 100 percent automated with the latest technology. The internal material handling is done by robots. Only three people will work in the huge warehouse. Jiecang Linear Motion Technology produces intelligent motion solutions for offices, medical applications and smart homes.
