Three thousand more job vacancies: 36 thousand positions to be filled

The Jobportal.hu, operated by HR Portal, views, collects and organises job advertisements posted by employers in Hungary, mainly job portals and company career sites. At the end of April, companies were looking for candidates for 36 166 positions. For comparison, at the end of March there were 33 089 ads available, compared with 39 242 in March last year.

By region, the largest number of job offers are in Budapest and Pest county (12 368), followed by Győr-Moson-Sopron (1410), Fejér (1023), Komárom-Esztergom (791) and Bács-Kiskun (716). At the bottom of the list are Tolna (210) and Békés (237) counties.

From March to April, 21 of the 26 job categories saw an increase in the number of ads, while only 5 saw a decrease. The largest decreases were in manufacturing (-426), engineering (-226) and technician (-177) jobs. The largest increases were in professional jobs (745), sales/trade (554), logistics (501) and hospitality (396)

The most frequently advertised positions in the occupations with the highest number of ads were:

In manufacturing (4,924 ads): machine operator, operator, maintenance, service, packer, technician, skilled worker, shift supervisor, assembler.

Sales in retail (3631 ads): sales representative, sales assistant, sales representative, sales representative, key account manager, telephone salesman, sales manager.

administrative (2246 ads): receptionist, administrative assistant, receptionist, management assistant, warehouse assistant, sales assistant

Informatics (1612 ads): programmer, support specialist, system administrator, DevOps engineer, Java developer, software engineer, software developer (C , C#, .NET), systems engineer.

Engineering (2786 ads): mechanical engineer, quality engineer, process engineer, quality engineer, mechatronics engineer, electrical engineer, design engineer, production support engineer.

Among professional jobs (3643 ads): warehouse worker, sales clerk, forklift operator, packer, cashier, driver, CNC operator, driver, stocker, referrer, waiter.

Human resources, human resources, is not among the highest volume jobs (624 ads). Here, the number of ads increased by 128 in a month. Most frequently advertised jobs: recruitment associate, HR associate, payroll clerk, HR trainee, labour relations associate, HR administrator, HR generalist, HR business partner, HR assistant, HR consultant, HR manager, recruitment consultant.
